Programme activity and photo evidence.Through our regional programmes (for example Sport & Environment), AUSC Region 5 (the data controller) may receive activity reports and photographs submitted by member countries as evidence of participation. A submitted photograph is reviewed by AUSC Region 5 before any publication; only verified entries — and their photographs — are shown on the public programme pages. Location/GPS metadata is removed from photographs on upload. Where a photograph may depict an identifiable person, and in particular a minor, it must not be published without the appropriate consent. You may request that a published photograph be removed by contacting the Data Protection Officer below; verified entries can be taken down and their photographs erased on request. These records are retained in line with our retention schedule and then deleted.
